HAVELSAN Telecom Cloud Platform, na met succes de Network Functions Virtualization and Mobile Edge Computing Interoperability tests van het European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) in juni te hebben doorstaan, staat nu in dezelfde lijst met de wereldreuzen.
HAVELSAN is erin geslaagd de lijst met ecosystemen van Open Source NFV Management and Orchestration MANO (OSM) binnen te gaan; Wereldreuzen als Amazon, Red Hat, VMware, Whitestack en Wind River zijn in deze lijst opgenomen.
Wat is HAVELSAN Telekom Cloud Platform?
Het is een virtualisatieplatform dat OpenStack- en Kubernetes-infrastructuur op één punt combineert en zowel cloudspecifieke netwerkfunctie (CNF) als virtuele netwerkfunctie (VNF) ondersteunt.
Dit platform is van groot belang voor de implementatie van technologieën als 5G, Mobile Edge Computing (MEC), Radio Access Network (RAN), Vehicle-Everything Communication (V2X), Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), Automatisering en Robotica.
